To diagnose gallbladder problems, healthcare professionals often utilize blood tests to check for signs of infection or liver dysfunction, alongside imaging techniques like ultrasound or CT scans to visualize gallstones or inflammation. Preventive measures include maintaining a healthy weight through a balanced diet high in fiber and low in saturated fats. Regular physical activity and avoiding rapid weight loss can significantly reduce the risk of gallstones.
